1 DAY LANDSCAPE PAINTING WORKSHOP / Saturday 10th May 2025
A 1 day course painting the landscape en plein-air (from life) using oil paint and water-based oil paint. This is held at my home in North Wiltshire (between Malmesbury and Tetbury: a 2 hour drive from London or 1.20 mins on the train from Paddington to Kemble). We are very lucky to be surrounded by views to paint.
We will start the morning with coffee while I talk you through the plan for the day and we get set up, following which I will do a demonstration. You will then start your own painting - and I will come round throughout the day giving some help and feedback, and a couple more demos.
My teaching style is informal and friendly - I focus very much on painting for enjoyment, experimenting, loosening up - it’s all about progress not perfection!
Please bring your own materials.
Tea, coffee, cakes and lunch are all provided.
All abilities are welcome.
